With a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Redlands, Jen Peterson is a seasoned business owner with over 20 years of experience. She is passionate about helping others, a commitment that has been a cornerstone of her professional journey.

Based in the beautiful community of Coronado, Jen is dedicated to raising two daughters with her supportive husband, John. Outside of work, she loves cooking, listening to music, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Kellie Barry is a dedicated professional with a Bachelor of Science degree from UCLA and over two decades of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a commitment to improving women's health and advancing oncology research, showcasing a deep passion for these critical areas of healthcare.  

Kellie is based in Coronado with her fiancé and two daughters. In her free time, she loves exploring new restaurants, maintains a healthy lifestyle, indulges her love for live music, and enjoys traveling to Italy.

With over 40 years of clinical experience, Dr. Jose Alanis-Amezcua brings deep expertise and compassionate care to Island Integrative Health, where he focuses on comprehensive women’s health and hormone optimization. A board-certified OB-GYN and fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Dr. Alanis has cared for thousands of patients across Southern California and Mexico, delivering exceptional care through every stage of life.

His career spans private practice, academic medicine, and clinical instruction—including 25 years as a Clinical Instructor at UC San Diego’s Department of Reproductive Medicine, where he mentored future physicians in high-risk deliveries, surgical advancements, and integrative reproductive care. Known for his patient-first approach and continual pursuit of cutting-edge medical knowledge, Dr. Alanis has earned a reputation for improving outcomes through early diagnosis, prevention, and personalized treatment plans.

At Island Integrative Health, Dr. Alanis applies his OB-GYN foundation to a modern, functional medicine model—using advanced hormone therapies, individualized wellness strategies, and evidence-based care to help patients thrive at every age.
